As you open the Account Summary page, you’ll notice five tabs at the top: Sales Analytics, Inventory, Sales by Product, Payment Method, and Sales by User. In this video, we’ll focus on the Sales Analytics page, which is your go-to dashboard for understanding your business performance.
Step 2: Sales Analytics Card Titles Explanation
The Sales Analytics page presents crucial information in a card format. Let’s briefly explain each title:
- Total Income: The overall revenue generated from sales.
- Cost of Goods (Cost Price): The total cost incurred to produce or acquire the goods sold.
- Gross Profit (Profit Margin): The profit percentage after deducting the Cost of Goods from Total Income.
- Total Expenses: The sum of all business expenses entered into the app.
- Total Discount: The total amount discounted from sales transactions.
- Net Profit: The final profit after subtracting Total Expenses and Total Discount from Gross Profit.
Step 3: Filtering Options
The Sales Analytics page not only provides insightful information but also allows you to filter data based on different time periods. You can view summaries for daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or custom date ranges.
