Step 1: Selecting the Image Card
To add items to your cart, the first way is to simply select the image card of the product you want to sell. Browse through your inventory on the main screen, find the product, and tap on its image card. This will automatically add the selected item to your cart.
Step 2: Scanning the Barcode
The second way is by using the barcode scanner. Tap on the barcode icon, and the camera will activate. Aim the camera at the product’s barcode, and FABPOS will instantly recognize and add the item to your cart. It’s a quick and efficient way to process sales.
Step 3: Manual Entry for Additional Items or Services
If you need to add a product that is not listed in your inventory or include additional services, the third way is to enter the product amount manually. Simply tap on the ‘Custom Item’ icon, insert the product selling amount and enter any description. This flexibility is handy for doing a quick transaction on the go that is not listed.
Step 4: Proceeding to the Cart
After adding all the items to your cart, tap on the blue ‘Continue’ button to proceed to the next page. This will open the cart page, where you can review and manage the items before finalizing the sale.
Step 5: Cart Page Management
In the cart page, you’ll see a list of all the items and services you’ve added. To make adjustments, tap on each item to increase the quantity or adjust the custom selling price as needed. Once you’re satisfied with the changes, tap on the ‘Save’ button to go back.
Step 6: Adding Discounts
While on the cart page, you also have the option to offer discounts to your customers. To do this, tap on the ‘Add discount’ button. This will take you to a new page where you can specify the discount amount or percentage for the entire transaction. Once you’ve entered the discount, tap ‘Confirm’ to go back to the cart page, and the discount will be applied to the total.
Step 7: Assigning a Customer
Another powerful feature in FABPOS is the ability to assign a customer to the transaction. This is particularly important for building your customer database. Step 8: Proceeding to Payment
After ensuring everything is in order on the cart page, you can now proceed to the payment page by tapping the ‘Charge’ button. This will initiate the payment process for the transaction.

On the payment page, you’ll see various options for completing the transaction. You can modify these options by tapping on the ‘Manage’ button located on the top right-hand side. Once you’ve selected and specified the payment method, you’re ready to complete the transaction.
